our projects and workshops
Aikyam UK is a youth-led charity supporting young people aged 8 to 24 across the UK — not just through one lens, but with a fully open heart.
Here’s a look at what we’re delivering across schools, colleges, communities, and beyond:
Critical Thinking Workshop
Empower minds. Strengthen choices.
One of our most popular and transformative workshops, this session helps young people develop key life skills — including how to critically evaluate situations, manage peer pressure, and make confident, informed decisions. With real-world scenarios and interactive discussions.
Mental Health Ambassadors Project
Change starts with conversation.
We train young people to become Mental Health Ambassadors within their schools and communities. These young leaders raise awareness, reduce stigma, and support peers who may be struggling.
Domestic Abuse Ambassadors Project
Breaking the silence. Building safety.
We equip young people to recognise the signs of domestic abuse and become peer advocates in safe relationships. Ambassadors are trained to educate others, signpost support, and challenge harmful behaviours. It’s about early intervention — and empowering youth to be part of the solution.
Risks of Gang Affiliation Workshop
Awareness saves lives.
This powerful workshop tackles the realities of gang culture — from recruitment tactics and peer pressure to long-term consequences. Led with honesty and care, the session opens up space for real talk, safe choices, and second chances.
